Privacy policy
Junto Club shows a curated feed of links on its website and on every new tab in Chrome. Accounts are optional, and there are no ads, no analytics and no tracking. This page lists everything the website and the extension store or send.
Stored only in your browser
- Your bookmarks, your history of links opened from Junto Club, the last loaded feed and the last tab you viewed, in your browser's local storage.
- A random browser id (a UUID that isn't tied to you, your Google account or your device).
The extension asks for no Chrome permissions. It can't read your browsing history, your other tabs or the pages you visit.
Sent to our database
- Loading the feed. The page fetches the list of links from our database (Supabase). This request sends nothing about you.
- Bookmark counts. When you save or unsave a link, the link's id and your random browser id are sent so each card can show how many people saved it. We store the pair and the time it was saved, and delete it when you unsave.
- Trend. When you open a link from Junto Club, the link's id and your random browser id are sent so the feed can show the links opened and saved most in the last 24 hours. We store the pair once a day per link, with the time it was opened.
- Accounts (optional). If you sign up or log in, we store your email address (or, with Google or X, the email, name and profile picture they share) to sign you in, and the links you save with the time you saved them, so your bookmarks follow you to other browsers and devices. Your sign-in session is kept in your browser's local storage. Logging out removes your bookmarks from that browser; they stay in your account.
- Profile photo (optional). If you upload a profile photo from your account, we store a 256-pixel copy in our database's public file storage, so anyone with its link can see it.
- Member count. The site shows how many people have an account, how many signed up yesterday, and a few members' profile photos (or the first letter of their name or email address when there's no photo). It never shows email addresses or names.
As with any web request, our database host and website host (Vercel) receive your IP address and browser user agent in their request logs. We don't use them to identify you.
Third parties
Card images and avatars load directly from where the link was posted (for example X, YouTube or Telegram), so those services receive the same request information when the images load. Clicking a card opens the original page, which has its own privacy policy.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share data, we don't use it for advertising or credit decisions, and we don't collect personal information such as your name, email address or browsing activity unless you create an account, in which case we keep only what's listed above.
Your choices
Unsave a link to remove its count entry. Clearing this site's data (or removing the extension) deletes your bookmarks, history and browser id from your browser; any count or open entries left under that id can no longer be linked to you. To delete your account, its saved links and its profile photo, email team@iris.credit from the address you signed up with.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.

Junto Club 계정은 선택이고, 광고·분석 도구·추적은 없어요. 웹사이트와 확장 프로그램이 저장하거나 보내는 정보는 아래가 전부예요.
내 브라우저에만 저장
- 북마크, Junto Club에서 연 링크 기록, 마지막으로 불러온 피드, 마지막으로 본 탭 (브라우저 로컬 스토리지)
- 무작위 브라우저 ID (나, 구글 계정, 기기와 연결되지 않는 UUID)
확장 프로그램은 크롬 권한을 하나도 요청하지 않아요. 방문 기록, 다른 탭, 보고 있는 페이지를 읽을 수 없어요.
데이터베이스로 보내는 정보
- 피드 불러오기: 데이터베이스(Supabase)에서 링크 목록을 받아요. 이 요청에는 사용자 정보가 없어요.
- 북마크 수: 링크를 저장하거나 해제할 때 링크 ID와 무작위 브라우저 ID를 보내서 카드마다 저장한 사람 수를 보여줘요. 이 둘과 저장 시각을 보관하고, 저장을 해제하면 지워요.
- Trend: Junto Club에서 링크를 열 때 링크 ID와 무작위 브라우저 ID를 보내서 피드에 지난 24시간 가장 많이 열고 저장한 글을 보여줘요. 링크마다 하루 한 번, 열어 본 시각과 함께 보관해요.
- 계정 (선택): 가입하거나 로그인하면 로그인을 위해 이메일 주소(Google·X로 로그인하면 그 서비스가 넘겨주는 이메일, 이름, 프로필 사진)를 보관하고, 저장한 링크와 저장 시각을 보관해서 다른 브라우저·기기에서도 북마크를 볼 수 있게 해요. 로그인 세션은 브라우저 로컬 스토리지에 저장돼요. 로그아웃하면 그 브라우저의 북마크는 지워지고 계정에는 남아요.
- 프로필 사진 (선택): 계정에서 프로필 사진을 올리면 256픽셀 사본을 데이터베이스의 공개 파일 저장소에 보관해요. 링크가 있으면 누구나 볼 수 있어요.
- 회원 수: 사이트에 가입한 사람 수, 어제 가입한 사람 수, 회원 몇 명의 프로필 사진(사진이 없으면 이름이나 이메일의 첫 글자)을 보여줘요. 이메일 주소나 이름은 보여주지 않아요.
모든 웹 요청과 마찬가지로 데이터베이스와 웹사이트 호스팅(Vercel)의 요청 로그에는 IP 주소와 브라우저 정보가 남아요. 이를 사용자 식별에 쓰지 않아요.
제3자
카드 이미지와 프로필 사진은 원래 게시된 곳(X, YouTube, Telegram 등)에서 바로 불러와요. 카드를 누르면 원문 페이지가 열리고, 그 페이지에는 해당 서비스의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용돼요.
하지 않는 것
데이터를 팔거나 공유하지 않고, 광고에 쓰지 않으며, 이름·이메일·방문 기록 같은 개인정보를 수집하지 않아요. 계정을 만든 경우에만 위에 적은 정보를 보관해요.
선택권
저장을 해제하면 해당 기록이 지워져요. 사이트 데이터를 지우거나 확장 프로그램을 삭제하면 북마크, 기록, 브라우저 ID가 브라우저에서 지워져요. 계정과 저장한 링크, 프로필 사진을 지우려면 가입한 이메일로 team@iris.credit에 메일 주세요.
